Ashley McCloud is an accomplished Assistant Editor, recently returned to Melbourne after seven years working in Canada’s dynamic film and television industry.
Some of Ashley’s most recent credits include notable projects such as Lucky Hank for AMC and Final Destination: Bloodlines for New Line Cinema/Warner Brothers, currently playing in cinemas. With over a decade of experience in post-production and a BA in Film and Television Production, Ashley brings a strong creative sensibility to her work, and showcases a particular interest in crafting complex characters, distinctive soundscapes and integrating visual effects to elevate storytelling.
Whilst overseas, Ashley became full member of IATSE 891 and a permittee with ACFC West, granting her access to some of the Northern Hemispheres most passionate artists, including Academy Award winner Peter Farrelly and Emmy winner Paul Lieberstein. Ashley also served on the Editor Advisory Committee, a group dedicated to highlighting the exceptional talent within Vancouver’s post-production community and is a proud advocate for women in post-production, continually working to support greater representation and recognition in the field.
Now back in Melbourne, Ashley is on the lookout for stories that shine a spotlight on the things that bind us: the comedy, the conflict, the subtleties of the human condition.
